Biography:
Prior to the full-time ministry, Pastor Spira was in management and marketing for three different companies in Illinois and Wisconsin. He has a B.S. and MBA in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin, and a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, IN. He has been the Senior Pastor at Peace Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, IN since July 13, 2008.
Pastor Spira's family includes his wife, Caryl, daughter, Elizabeth, and son, Ethan. Mrs. Spira works for the College of Engineering at IPFW. Elizabeth graduated from Harvard in May of 2011 and was married in July. Ethan is in his third year at Concordia University, Mequon, WI. These are Pastor Spira's primary interests outside of church.
Interests:
Rev. Spira enjoys all kinds of music (playing, singing, and listening), and he and Caryl love traveling, going to the theater, and attending other live performances. They have two dogs, Chena and Lambeau, and are diehard fans of, who else, the Green Bay Packers.
