Mrs. Cindy McKinney holds a B.S. in Education degree from Butler University and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Ball State University.  She has 16 years of experience in both public and Lutheran Schools.

In addition, she is working at the state government level as an education consultant with the Indiana Department of Education.  At LSUS, she supports teachers in their efforts to create learning experiences that are engaging and research-based.  She also serves as Academic Excellence Coordinator for The Lutheran Schools Partnership.  Cindy’s husband, Mitch, is an officer with the Fort Wayne Police Department.  They have two sons and are members of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Interests:

Mrs. McKinney enjoys reading and music.  She is excited about continuing her work at Lutheran South Unity School on a part-time basis.
